讓使用者可以在 YouTube 上找到自己喜愛的內容，對我們來說是非常重要的。我們希望能幫助觀眾發掘新的興趣與愛好，例如未曾聽聞的優質演出者、其他值得訂閱的創作者，或一份精美食譜。儘管如此，仍然只有使用者自己才真正瞭解自己想要觀看什麼樣的內容。觀眾曾多次向我們反應，希望能夠更確實掌控 YouTube 首頁，以及「即將播放」所顯示的建議影片。因此，我們決定推出更多功能，讓觀眾能擁有主控權。以下是我們近期會陸續推出的三項異動：
● 在 YouTube 首頁和「即將播放」影片專區探索各式主題和相關影片： 現在起，使用者可以更輕鬆地探索不同主題和相關影片，例如烘焙影片、最新的深夜談話節目或喜愛的音樂類型，並透過 YouTube 觀看更多自己感興趣的內容。系統會依據既有的個人化建議設定提供影片選擇，讓使用者可以在更短時間內找到所需內容，像是與使用者目前正在觀看的影片有關的內容、當前觀看頻道發布的影片，或是其他使用者可能感興趣的主題。使用者可以在 YouTube 首頁上方，或是瀏覽影片時的「即將播放」專區找到這個功能。目前這項功能僅支援 Android 裝置上的英文版 YouTube 應用程式，iOS 版、電腦版和其他語言版本的使用者在不久後也能開始使用這項服務。
● 將不感興趣的頻道從相關建議影片移除： 儘管我們努力讓內容推薦能夠更符合觀眾的喜好，但相關機制仍可能有不盡完善之處。因此，我們決定讓使用者在這方面能夠擁有更充分的掌控權。現在，如果使用者不希望 YouTube 再推薦特定頻道的影片，只需要輕觸首頁或「即將播放」專區旁的三點圖示選單，然後點選 「不要推薦這個頻道」，YouTube 就不會再向使用者推薦該頻道發布的影片，但如果使用者訂閱、搜尋該頻道，或是前往該頻道頁面或發燒影片分頁，還是有可能看見相關內容。這項全新功能目前已陸續支援全球 Android 和 iOS 版 YouTube 應用程式，電腦版不久後也會跟進。
● 進一步瞭解 YouTube 推薦特定影片的原因： 最後，YouTube 有時候也會依據其他與使用者興趣相似的觀眾先前觀看並表示喜歡的影片，推薦使用者未曾看過的頻道所推出的影片。現在起，系統在根據這項機制向使用者推薦影片時，會在影片下方的小方塊顯示更多相關資訊。我們希望藉此向使用者說明這些影片出現在首頁中的原因，以便協助使用者找到可能感興趣的新頻道所推出的影片。這項服務目前已在全球的 iOS 版 YouTube 應用程式陸續推出，Android 版和電腦版也即將上線。
